The advertisement banner shown above appeared in the Practical Boat Owner magazine in December 1984. As you can see it shows the full range of yachts built by:-
Dockrell Yachts Ltd Parkwood Road, Tavistock, Devon, England. and 1839 RT 46, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054, USA. Production continued until about 1995. The Western Evening Herald newspaper article on the left shows the Dockrell 22, which was first manufactured in 1973, won the Westward Television best boat in show award in 1978. The Dockrell range consisted of the 17, 22, 27 and 37 foot models. The 27 was built to similar specifications to the Hurley 27 which was also built in Plymouth at Hurley Marine Ltd.
