It has been suggested to me that as my current plate is beginning to corrode it could be worthwhile replacing it with a stainless steel one. I'm concerned this could alter the weight down below but presumably corrosion would, if it's fitted properly, become a thing of the past. Has anyone done this? Any comments/observations most welcome.
